The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Power Eelctronics, Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Digital Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Machines, Information Technology, and Control system. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in and around the world.

The conference is jointly organsied by the IDES and the Association of Computer Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineers (ACEECom).
